We do free homepage designs as a free trial of our web development service. This is to give you an idea of how our web design service will be like.

To take advantage of this:

1. Contact us and one of our consultants will reach out to you.
2. Our consultant will set a Zoom with you.
3. Our consultant will share with you the free homepage design.
4. If you like it, our consultant will ask you questions to write out the scope.
5. Once the scope is finalized, our consultant will share our paid packages with you to move forward.

*We are not a non-profit that offer free services. We are a for-profit firm and this is a free trial to decrease your risk of signing up with a bad IT company.

We will do the free homepage design and show it to you on our first meeting.

If you don’t like it, no worries, we will delete everything permanently. Unfortunately we cannot send over anything.

Web development is the process of setting up a company website. This includes registering a domain, your email accounts and designing your website.

Our packages are $7,000 and $5,000 for the custom and template packages respectively.

Web maintenance is a separate package as it depends on the number of hours of design and content changes.

We have three PSG government grant packages. The package prices are fixed by the government and you will receive 50% (PSG) or 90% (SFEC) funding from the government.

First, you will have to apply for approval. Our consultants can guide you through this 15 minute process. Contact us to apply for approval.

Of course, we will always advise you to submit your requirements upfront, so that we can set expectations upfront.

There may be changes after the project starts, and you can always change your mind. In that case, we will give you a new estimate on the number of hours to finish that new task.

1. We will give you the instructions to access our maintenance portal via your email.
2. All development hour tasks must go through the portal. A unique ticket ID is created automatically for record keeping.
3. You will email or WhatsApp in your requirements.
4. Our development team will give you an estimate (the number of hours).
5. You can approve or reject the estimate. We will never start work until you approve the estimate. (e.g. We estimate 5 hours for a task.)
6. Base case.
   • If you approve the estimate and we finish it in fewer hours (e.g. 3 hours), then you will only be billed for 3 hours.
7. Medium case.
   • You approve the estimate and we finish it in the exact estimate we gave, and you will be billed that that number of hours (e.g. 5 hours).
8. Worst case example.
   • You approve the estimate, but we finish 80% of task in 5 hours. We will then inform you and you can decide if you would like to continue.
   • If you would like to spend an additional 1 hour to finish the task 100%, then the total hours spent would be 6 hours.
   • If you would not like to spend the additional 1 hour, the we do nothing and the task is 80% completed.

Think of a Design Draft as the structure and a Page as the final content filled in:

• 1 Design Draft. The unique visual layout and structure created for a specific page type.

• 1 Page. Any live web page on your site containing its own specific text, photos, and FAQs.

For example, a music school needs pages for Cello, Violin, and Piano lessons. All 3 pages share the same visual structure, just with different text and photos. So this requires 1 Design Draft and results in 3 Pages.

All our developers for a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Our project manager will always give an estimate on the task for your approval before we start any work. If the amount of time spent is more due to oversights made on our end, we will not bill you for errors.

Occasionally, we are given new tasks that we have never done before. For example, we were asked to estimate the number of hours to setup an API with OCBC. We informed the company that we have never done such an OCBC integration before. We gave an estimate of 20 hours and set expectations upfront that we have no experience with this. Ultimately, we will be transparent and give you the option to decide between us and other options.

Every web development company will give you two types of quotations:

• fixed package quote

• hourly quote

A fixed package quote is a fixed dollar amount, such as $3000 for a project, such as a live streaming website. The scope will be written prior, and it must be as detailed and clear as possible to prevent scope creep. 

On the other hand, an hourly quote is a fixed dollar amount per hour. The web company will spend as many hours as you approve for. If the task is finished earlier, you will benefit by saving hours and cost.

What are the pros & cons of getting a fixed guaranteed package?

The upside of a fixed package quote is that you have a guarantee that it will not exceed a budget. You do not have to worry about the allocation of development hours.

The downside is that the cost is often higher. The web company needs a buffer to ensure that they do not under quote and lose money.

What are the pros & cons of getting an hourly package?

The upside of an hourly estimate is that the overall cost is usually lower.

The downside is that you take on the risk of spending more development hours that you may expect.

Which is better?

Ultimately every web company offers both options.

If you sign up for a fixed package, the web company takes the risk. If the project takes more hours than expected, the web company loses money.

If you sign up for an hourly package, you hold the risk. For example, you are given an estimate of 15 hours which cost $1260. If the project ends up exceeding to 20 hours, then the cost would be $1680 which would be above the initial estimate. You would hold this risk.

It is ultimately your decision. You can pick a:

• higher but guaranteed budget (fixed package & cost),

• or a lower cost option that may exceed the original budget (hourly option).

All hourly estimated are given by our Project Managers based on the actual scope of work. We ensure fair and consistent pricing:

• Fair billing regardless of developer experience. We will give you an estimate based on the standard complexity of the task, not the developer’s experience. If a junior developer works on your site, you will never be charged extra hours.

• Consistent & objective estimates. Our hourly estimate process is standardized. If you request a quote, for the same task from two different consultants, you will receive the same hourly estimate.
